EDEGE COMPUTING, THE FUTURE OF EMBEDDED SYSTEMS
Autonomous vehicles, smart cities and buildings, Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance, etc., all these fields of innovation are characterized by increasingly efficient hardware, software and communication technologies, which push even further our ability to manage in real time and in confidence data from connected objects, even massively connected. Edge Computing accompanies this transformation with several promises: embed more intelligence in these objects, allow them to operate autonomously, reduce processing latencies, preserve data sovereignty – in short, Edge Computing is asserting itself as one of the new key technological architectures of embedded, promised to grow very strongly in the next 5 years.

CPS4EU, A TOOLBOX TO ASSEMBLE YOUR NEXT CYBERPHYSICAL EMBEDDED SYSTEM
Wednesday, June 29 at 10:45 am
For 3 years a large consortium of European techno providers, within the framework of the ECSEL CPS4EU project, have developed together a panoply of components, modules and tools, which greatly facilitate the integration of new cyberphysical systems.

TRAINING IN EMBEDDED SYSTEMS… RESPONDING TO THE CHALLENGES OF TODAY AND TOMORROW
Wednesday, June 29 at 11:30 am
How can we help our companies recruit in the Embedded Systems sector? Embedded France carries out actions to bring academics and employers closer together, to demystify from the Lycée a field that is by nature not very visible and poorly known, without only focusing on initial training…

ELECTRONICS AND SUSTAINABILITY, SOME TRACKS “IT for Green” and “Green IT”
Thursday, June 30 at 3:00 pm
Our interventions will alternate between “IT for Green” and “GreenIT” concepts: After a short introduction to the environmental impacts of digital technology (energy, resources, waste, etc.), we will introduce the key concepts of the circular economy and present some applications related to embedded electronics (IoT in particular) in the circular economy. Then, on the hardware side, we will give some examples from circular electronics, and on the software side, Greenspector will give feedback on the measurement of consumption and the environmental impact of a digital service.
Carolynn Bernier, Senior Research Engineer – CEA
Thierry Leboucq, President – Greenspector
