The SmartDeepCam developed by YUMAIN during the CPS4EU project is based on a real-time image acquisition and processing board. This board, totally designed and manufactured by YUMAIN, is based on an MPSOC circuit (Xilinx Zynq 7020) connected to a 2MPixel CMOS image sensor (Teledyne Emerald). The embedded processing consists of classical image processing functions but also neural processing based on Deep Learning. In order to easily use the camera, a GUI interface has been developed.
The applications mainly concern the field of factory 4.0, whether for the protection of people in hazardous areas or for the quality control of products.
